What is EZ Giving? EZ Giving is an optional way for those who attend How is my electronic giving automatically deducted from my account? You complete an authorization form and your designated giving is electronically transferred directly from your account to the church’s account. What are the advantages of EZ Giving? It will save you time, simplify your life, and help you plan. At the same time, it will help the church stabilize it’s budget. When will my giving be deducted from my account? On the authorization form, you will have the option of designating deductions weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly. If I don’t write a check, how will I keep my checkbook balance straight? Since your giving will be deducted at a pre-established time, you simply record it in your check register on the appropriate date. Without a cancelled check, how can I prove that I gave to the church? Your bank statement will give you an itemized list of electronic transfers. In addition, What is the cost of EZ Giving? There is no cost to you, and only a small cost per transaction to the church. How can I increase the amount of my giving? You can increase your giving at any time by notifying the church financial secretary. Is EZ Giving risky? In many ways, electronic transactions are less risky than checks. They cannot be lost, stolen, or destroyed, and they have a very high rate of accuracy. What if I change bank accounts, or decide I don’t like EZ Giving? You can change or cancel your authorization at any time by notifying the church financial secretary. But once you’ve experienced the convenience of EZ Giving we doubt that you will want to go back to making contributions by check. When can I sign up for EZ Giving?
