sean mcdowell  |  pastor of next generation ministries

Sean began serving at CFC more than 12 years ago when he graduated from college at Trinity International University in Deerfield, Illinois with a B.A. in Youth Ministries.  Since he began in 1995 as Youth Pastor, Constance has seen tremendous growth and Sean's responsibilities have gradually changed - from Pastor of Student Ministries to Pastor of High School Ministries and again to his current position as Pastor of Next Generation Ministries.  

Sean now works with an amazing team of volunteers to form a new Young Adult Ministries (18 years old to early 30's), gives high level oversight to all next generation ministries and support staff (nursery through high school), occasional teaching pastor during weekend services and other pastoral responsibilities.  He is passionate about "spiritual formation," which is how people become more like Jesus.  Sean grew up in the northwestern suburbs of Chicago and still loves Chicago-style pizza!  Currently, he is pursuing a M.A. in Theological Studies from Wheaton Graduate School.
