Public child dedication is a holy time of heart commitment by parents who desire to offer their children as a living sacrifice to the Lord - for His use and glory. It is based scripturally from Hannah's dedication of Samuel (I Samuel 1:19-28) as well as Mary and Joseph's dedication of Jesus (Luke 2:21-22).
At Constance Free Church, we currently hold child dedication services 2-3 times each year. Dedications are held during each weekend service and parents may choose the service in which you prefer to participate. Parents are asked to register for dedication at least one week in advance.
Any parents who have not previously dedicated a child at Constance will be required to attend a short class prior to the dedication service to review what dedication means, answer any questions you may have, and review the order of the worship service in which you'll be participating.
It is our prayer that this time of dedication will be precious in the sight of God and a meaningful experience for you and your family.
