Illness Guidelines

Children's Ministries operates in accordance with the Sickness Guidelines as adopted by the Elder board. We are unable to provide care if your child has one or more of these symptoms:

  • Fever greater than 100oF
  • Runny nose – any color drainage
  • Questionable rashes
  • Productive cough
  • Diarrhea in the last 24 hours
  • Vomiting in the last 24 hours
  • Impetigo (untreated in last 24 hours)
  • Chicken Pox (up to 7 days after blisters)
  • Measles
  • Mumps
  • Conjunctivitis (Pink Eye)
  • Strep throat / sore throat
  • Head lice
  • Any antibiotic treatment for less than 24 hours

We hope that these guidelines will make you feel comfortable knowing that your child will not be exposed to other children with a known illness.

If your child develops a contagious illness after participating in any of our programming, please contact Jill Discher, our Director of Children's Ministries so that we may notify other parents whose children may have been exposed.
