Winter Late NighterBring your friends February 3rd from 7-11:30pm for an action filled night! The night includes an opening at church, Brunswick Zone and a movie at a local theater. Cost is $29 on or before January 27 and $35 after that until the day of the event. Some snacks are provided, but you are welcome to bring extra money for extras along the way. Parent WorkshopConstance Student Ministries is excited to offer, "Unraveling the Mystery, What Your Teen Needs," geared toward parents of middle and high school students. Join us Wednesday evening February 22 from 7-8:30 in the Community Room at Constance. This seminar is free and open to Constance families and the community. National speakers Jim and Lynne Jackson from the ministry Connected Families will be facilitating the workshop.
Spring BreakawayWe will be heading to Three Bears Lodge in Warrens, WI from March 23 - 25. We will leave 4pm Friday and return at 4pm on Sunday. We'll be staying in spacious villas and hanging out at the indoor waterpark. The lodge also includes the largest hybrid skatepark in the Midwest. There will also be fun worship and teaching times throughout the weekend as well. The cost is $110 if you sign up by February 29 and $125 on March 1 or later as space allows. Pay online or with an Event Response Envelope at church. A Constance Consent Waiver and Release Form is required for this event. Students should bring clothes, pajamas, swimsuit, towel, toiletries, snacks, bedding and money for two meals on the road and the skatepark (if you are interested).
Serve DaySpend the day serving the community Saturday, April 21 from 9am - 5pm. We will do several service projects to show Christ's love to people in need. Cost is $10 to cover lunch and transportation. Please register by April 11 with an Event Response Envelope at church. A Constance Consent, Waiver and Release is required for this event. Some students may be outside so dress for outdoor work projects, tennis shoes and work gloves.
Fargo/Moorhead Mission TripJune 25-29 Middle School Ministries will headed up to the Fargo/Moorhead area for our 2012 mission trip. This trip is open to students who have completed 6-8th grade. We will be staying at Concordia College in Moorhead. While this area is a great place to live, there are still those who live in poverty. By working alongside different local social service organizations we will have the opportunity to share the love of Christ. An application and a non-refundable $60 deposit are due February 15. Students will have the opportunity to fundraise throughout the spring. Total trip cost is $299. There is an informational meeting for all participants and their parents Sunday, February 26 from 12:15 - 2:30pm.
Summer Camp at Camp ShamineauAttention all upcoming 6-8th graders! Camp Shamineau provides an incredible opportunity for students to grow in their relationship with God. There will be a guest speaker, worship times, skills classes, free time, gym time, outdoor and waterfront activities, exciting Bible studies and amazing Constance camp counselors! You will experience all this plus the 'Incredible Pursuit,' Constance's own adventure game throughout camp. Parents are invited to lunch and closing chapel before check-out. Camp cost is $325 (basic package) and should be paid to Constance. Registration forms will be available at church starting in March. A non-refundable deposit of $125 is due April 18.
