Constance Free Church

Sonday Adventure is our children's programming during worship services.  Each year our different age levels will have different challenges and adventures.  The following is a glimpse of our age-specific programming:

Age 3 - Prekindergarten (5 years old)

• Learn about Jesus as their Savior, why He came and What He did
• Demonstrate friendship, forgiveness and love to others
• Learn Bible stories and about people from the Bible
• Discover how to pray

Kindergarten - 1st Grade

• Relate to Jesus as their friend
• Begin to lead prayers
• Know how to use their Bible
• Share the “good news”
• Desire to reach out to the needs of others
• Understand the importance of worship & offering
• Actively participate in worship
• Memorize selected Bible verses & can explain their meaning

2nd - 3rd Grade

• Demonstrate the ability to pray anytime, anywhere, about anything
• Explain the meaning of certain Bible passages
• Share their faith with peers
• Reach out to the needs of others through missions projects

4th - 5th Grade

• Know Jesus as friend, Savior, & Lord
• Use the PRAY model for prayer 
• Memorize passages in the Bible
• Understand & explain Biblical truths
• Can give their testimony when sharing their faith
• Lead prayer for themselves & others in small groups
• Work in small groups to meet the needs of others both in the community and across the world
• Know what Christ expects & respond appropriately

As you can see, we're going on a year long adventure!  Constance Free Church wants to partner with you in teaching your children about Jesus Christ.  Consider God's trail map leading you to join us in His awesome Adventure!

Classes are available on Saturday evening at 4:30 pm (during The Current: Unplugged) for preschool through those children entering 5th grade in the Fall.  They are also available at 9:00 am & 10:45 am during Sunday morning worship services.

We strongly encourage each family with children participating in the Nursery or Sonday Adventure program to volunteer in the Nursery or Sonday Adventure.  We believe that God has given each of us talents to be shared with His church.
