Berlin

Much of Europe is considered “post-Christian,” with many churches left as mere historical landmarks, empty save for tourists. Berlin, Germany, is a city where 2% or less of the population identifies as Evangelical Christian and is known as “the atheist capital of Europe.”

For years, ReachGlobal has seen the need for the Gospel in Berlin and, in response, has sent a network of missionaries there to serve. Constance supports one of these missionary families and has sent multiple teams to help encourage and encounter what God is doing in Berlin, including through Apex, the youth and young adult branch of ReachGlobal. Ministries in the city range from working with refugees, anti-human trafficking efforts, coffee house ministry, church planting, etc. Our ministry partners appreciate encouragement from those who visit on short-term trips, as it can be wearing not knowing many other believers.
