This week, Governor Walz communicated some next steps in regard to lifting the stay-at-home order in Minnesota. However, gatherings of 10 or more are still not permitted at this time. For this reason, we will continue to meet online only. Our staff is hard at work making a plan for reopening, and putting guidelines in place so we can meet safely when we are allowed to do so. As we learn more, we will continue to update you.

All in-person events at Constance will be paused until further notice. Weekend Services will be held online only and broadcast at 9am & 10:45am on constancefree.org/live and Facebook Live.

The State of Minnesota has recognized churches as essential organizations during the "Stay at Home" order through April 10.  This exemption allows us to continue broadcasting worship services online and engage in other areas of ministry. However, we have encouraged our staff to work from home whenever possible, practice social distancing as best as possible, and we have increased the disinfecting processes within any area used in our building to ensure the health of our church community.

Dear Constance Family,

We are living in unprecedented times, and we know a lot of you have questions about what we are planning as a church in the weeks ahead. Our leadership team has been prayerfully making decisions with an attitude of love and consideration for our church and community. Based on current recommendations from Minnesota health and government agencies, for the time being, we are extending the suspension of all on-campus ministry programming through April. However, if things change based on official guidelines, we will reconvene on campus as soon as possible!

We are so thankful for the technology to make our Weekend Services accessible for people online. And our team has great ideas for how we can make that experience even better while we’re all watching from home. We’ve also been working on some increased online options for you in the weeks ahead, even creating a “Constance studio” for ministries to broadcast video-based events. More details to come.

This Sunday, we will continue online only worship services on constancefree.org/live at 9:00am and 10:45am, and we’ve added a new 5:00pm option through Easter as well.

While we may be challenged to think differently about ministry right now, we really believe God has given us a unique opportunity to let the amazing community of our church shine among the community around us. The City of Andover has already reached out to us. As opportunities arise, we will be communicating ways you can help Constance fulfill the vision of “helping people connect with Jesus” in the days ahead.

Continue to remain in touch with one another this week. As always, we encourage you to submit your prayer requests online. If you have a need or know someone who has a need during this time, reach out to our church office (763) 434-5995. We would love to provide support where we can.

And, as able, please remain faithful in your giving. Even during this season, much of our ministry expenses and missionary support remains the same. If not already, we urge you to consider signing up for regular online giving at constancefree.org/give

We will continue to use our website, eNews, and social media to communicate any events and updates. Pray with us that God would use this time for His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven! His name is greater than all fear and disease!

Sincerely,

Constance Leadership
